Eco Garden Systems Announces Collaboration with Nasco 400 400 Eco Garden Systems

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN- August 8, 2018 – Eco Garden Systems is working with Nasco, a leader in education supplies for more than 75 years, to expand distribution of their gardens. This relationship is intended to increase Eco Garden Systems’ reach into schools, agricultural education, and health care education. The ability to connect through Nasco to schools, farms, and nursing homes/care facilities and present an alternative to traditional gardening will add a layer of sustainability to everything Nasco offers while helping everyone learn how to #GardenDifferent. Eco Garden Systems’ has two main goals: to create gardening communities and promote healthy living while making gardening easier for everyone.  This is done through “elevating” gardens off of the ground and including a water reservoir as part of the garden that makes watering easier while using 65% less water than traditional gardens. The Eco Garden team is excited to be a part of Nasco’s educational resources and to help those in the health care industry promote gardening for those with limited mobility. Minneapolis Home & Garden Show 757 545 Eco Garden Systems

Eco Garden Systems has a great time at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show this past March.  We met so many great people and generated a lot of interest from folks in the Upper Midwest.  The show also help us sell quite a few gardens and added over 125 people to our list of new friends.  Interest seemed to focus on four main areas: Our elevated gardens provide the convenience of not having to bend or stoop to plant/weed/harvest The convenience of having a water reservoir that not only supports plants with a moisture/oxygen rich “Air Gap” but the fact that this reservoir allows our Pumping Station to keep plants and soil properly hydrated The new animated video was a huge hit – quickly and simply explaining how the gardens work New colors also sparked some interest – we will have two new colors for the Backyard Garden! As our new Backyard Garden comes online (we expect to begin shipping in mid-May of 2017) we can now satisfy gardeners with both plenty of space and time to garden as well as those who want a bit more of a “set it and forget it” solution. Thanks to the entire Eco Garden Systems team for a great show – and thanks to everyone who stopped by to learn more.  We are quickly approaching planting as April turns to May – are you ready to get gardening?? Don’t forget to use your show discount!

Easy and Innovative Gardening with Eco Garden Systems

Easy and Innovative Gardening with Eco Garden Systems 2048 1301 Eco Garden Systems

Eco Garden Systems recently did our first show at the San Diego Fall Home and Garden show at the Del Mar fairgrounds. We met so many fantastic people who showed a lot of interest in our very unique gardens. We enjoyed all the questions posed by attendees, as well as the constructive input on the size of our garden and potential quantity of produce production. When first designing the garden, one of our main goals was to introduce a garden that would save on water usage and minimize the use of physical labor. The self-watering feature is what drew a lot of the people into the booth. We set up one of our gardens to display the sprinkler system on top to demonstrate how water is recirculated from the reservoir below; it gave most of our garden enthusiasts an opportunity to see how the automatic watering system works and why it is beneficial to garden vegetables and flowers. Throughout the event, we had so many wonderful conversations with avid gardeners who gave great advice and tips to gardening in the California area, as well as in the southwest in general. We went home from this show feeling like our gardens would address so many of the issues gardeners face when starting a garden and when maintaining one. The sustainability, water usage and the low maintenance of the Eco Garden Systems not only contribute to its name, but also help the environment and those who are looking for productive and organic gardening. Thank you San Diego! We’re looking forward to demonstrating how our gardens can help others at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show next year.

Madison Garden Expo 2017

Madison Garden Expo 2017 2147 1610 Eco Garden Systems

Eco Garden Systems participated in the annual Garden Expo in Madison in February 2017. The show was a great opportunity to showcase our newest garden design, which will be available in May of 2017. We met a lot of wonderful people and exchanged some great gardening ideas for the future season. Plus, the Wisconsin Vegetable Gardeners came by to interview our founder Donald Riesterer on the benefits of owning one of these gardens. Most of our visitors shared that one of the best benefits of our Eco Gardens is not having to bend or get on the ground to garden. Other garden features that were popular with show attendees included: The self-watering aspect caught the interest of most attendees. Many liked the flexibility offered with this feature and appreciated knowing they don’t have to worry about soil drying out if it’s not attended to for a few days. Small pest control was another attribute that was appreciated by many of the gardeners. With spring almost upon us, we are excited to offer gardeners a new innovative garden that can solve many common garden problems. Thank you to everyone who stopped and visited with us.
