Rosemary (Origin: Mediterranean)
Did you know that many people overuse Rosemary when cooking? It has a very powerful flavor so a little bit goes a long way – it has a tendency to overpower other more delicate herbs so use sparingly. Rosemary is traditionally used with chicken or lamb but many people like to use a sprig as a finisher when cooking steak. Toss a sprig in when you add the butter (pan sear and roast method) and leave in the pan as you finish it in the oven.
