Did you know that celery seeds are VERY slow to germinate? It is much easier to plant transplants – and being a cool weather plant, you can put your transplants in ~two weeks before average last frost date. To be ready for Spring, you should start seeds two to four months prior to your planting date (we did say VERY slow to germinate!).
